Are you interested in leading, managing and developing a world-leading Research & Insight team? Our client is a children’s charity passionate about building a brighter future for young people by harnessing the power of sport to enhance wellbeing, build leadership and raise achievement. They are committed to growing their existing research and insight capacity and capability and are currently recruiting for a Head of Research & Insight to join their existing evaluation and insight specialists and data analysts.

As Head of Research & Insight you will ensure our client is positioned as the most respected and trusted source of evidence on the power of sport, Physical Education and physical activity on children’s wellbeing, achievement and life chances. They want to be joined by someone who has energy, passion and vision to lead their team and position them to establish a research consultancy arm; extend their research collaborations and partnerships; and further develop their ability to influence external policies and strategies, evidence their impact and inform their future innovations.

Highly experienced in managing research programmes; developing research and insight strategies; conducting and commissioning research and evaluations, with knowledge of primary and secondary research methodologies; you can use your skills to make a difference to the lives of young people across the UK. You should also relish the challenge of establishing and growing our clients wider research and development network in the UK and internationally and expand the research and insight services they provide to their key stakeholders. They would particularly welcome applications from people with a health, wellbeing or sport-specific research background, or experience of social science more broadly.
