You will work very closely with the Chief Executive and Registrar (CE&R) of the organisation and will deputise for the CE&R as required - so personal confidence, consummate communication skills and a thorough understanding of the obligations inherent to working at a senior level within a regulated healthcare industry are prerequisites.
In conjunction with the CE&R you will deliver key regulatory activities relating to complaints against registrants, the collection of evidence, and preparation of cases for hearings including liaison with case examiners and legal experts. You will also play a key role in reviewing the training requirements of registrants.
You will be a self-motivated, strategic and analytical thinker with a broad remit focused on ensuring public protection. In addition to this, you will have a proven track record at a senior operational level within the healthcare industry, while experience managing complaints and developing educational curricula would be advantageous to your application.
