Head of Programme / Administrative Support, Charity c£35 - £38k, Southampton
Wonderful opportunity exists at this Southampton based Christian charity for an experienced Project / Programme Office Manager, organiser and Administrator who is also a Practicing Christian with a mature faith to lead their Programme Support team offering day-today assistance, strategic and organisational planning and delivery for a variety of charitable programmes of work both at home and abroad. Reporting to the Programmes Director, the successful candidate can demonstrate exceptional administration and organisational skills as well as being able to provide exceptional pastoral support for their global team of chaplains and other support staff. You will be organising a variety of events and functions, requests for welfare support, equipping and enabling the programme teams with appropriate training and resources to achieve their goals and maintaining control of expenses allocations and travel budgets whilst also upholding the Christian ethos of the organisation. In addition you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong Christian Faith as it is an Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 that the post holder will be a practicing Christian. You are a people person with excellent pastoral skills, with tact and diplomacy and will be a vital cog in the communication and organisation of the charity between the front-line, Board and Head Office.
