The Head of Production for Multimedia Creative combines the need for a future thinking leadership with an ability to lead and govern the Multimedia Creative team’s entire workflow and budget. From business as usual (BAU) through to global campaigns, The Head of Production will be responsible for the delivery of assets across an array of both customer facing and internal touch points.
This leadership role is both strategic and visionary, with a strong project management discipline and team leadership skills to ensure work is delivered consistently, on time and within budget.

Based in our Bird Street offices you’ll provide a unique and tailored service in Multimedia Creative to customers internally and externally, going beyond the ordinary to create memorable interactions and deliver. Working in Multimedia Creative you’ll share your knowledge through unique Selfridges stories, The role responds to the growing need to strengthen our processes and approach to workflow and project management as demand for assets scale at an ever accelerating rate. It is critical that we have a solid leader that can put in place the necessary planning, tools and resources needed to ensure a seamless end to end delivery of our multichannel creative.
As Head of Production you will be accountable for all aspects of the department: delivering a number of high level initiatives whilst managing a busy team at ground level, ownership of the yearly Multimedia Creative department budget, Leading the weekly team Scrum meeting, responsible for the delivery of Multimedia Creative outputs, improve project intake, briefing process and workflow across our entire output, define a new strategical approach to production, workflow and project management and present this vision to attain buy in from the team and other key stakeholders in the business, maintain existing and develop new relationships with appropriate suppliers and partners.
With a strong external awareness, bringing an interest and perspective on trends in Digital design, technology, fashion, styling and production, encourage the same in the team and lead a team that shares ideas and managing and leading your team confidently to deliver an extraordinary customer experience. Underpinning this is the ability to promote the company values, to lead the team to live them and exceed individual and departmental indicators
This is a thrilling opportunity and when you consider all of the exciting new projects we have coming up this year, this role will take you on a journey. You’ll inspire and lead a high-performing team of design specialists managing a number of exciting items from implementing an Agile QA process to defining our SLA’s. And you’ll do it all in a fast-moving, cutting-edge environment. Developing relationships and driving commercial focus in your team, you’ll be confident in setting the direction required to enable great performance.

You’ll be a highly experienced and production focused leader who is attuned to the Selfridges brand and the passion with which we develop and maintain it. A multiplatform thinker with a proven track record of managing creative teams (agency / retail) that deliver assets across a full spectrum of digital and traditional media, including global campaigns in a variety of languages.
Scrum Master Accreditation an advantage but not essential.
Adept at creating systems that our business can use to feed through work into the team, reducing churn and driving efficiencies.
As leader of a busy production team, you will know when to apply a Triage approach to ensure resource and time is apportioned correctly so we hit deadline.
A confident user of all Adobe programs, PowerPoint, Excel and Word as well as industry leading production workflow applications.
