This is an exciting opportunity for an experience procurement professional to manage and shape the procurement strategy for a growing SME based in Bradford.
My client is a privately owned, British business who are a market leader within their specific sector. Due to growth, they are looking to add to their senior leadership team.
Manage a small purchasing team
Work closely with the owners and senior readership to ensure
Implement and improve current purchasing systems to ensure more accurate forecasting and stock level requirements and JIT deliveries
Development & delivery of integrated processes to achieve optimal supply chain performance through the relevant sector supply chains
Managing and reporting on work in progress and physical stock to meet targets across the business
Ensuring compliance with the Company's Supply Chain/procurement policies and standards
Min 5 year's experience with a responsibility for 7 million plus
Experience of working with a fast paced manufacturing environment
A previous track record of implementing and improving current purchasing systems to ensure more accurate forecasting and stock level requirements and JIT deliveries .
Experience of dealing with ethical trading
Ideally CIPS qualified
£50,000 - £60,000 + benefits
