We are pleased to be working with one of the most exciting and disruptive consumer tech organisations in the uk who are now recruiting for a Head of PR & Media Relations to join their team.

The business has enjoyed a meteoric rise since its foundation only five years ago, to a recognised consumer brand, 1500 staff and floatation on the London Stock Exchange. They have major ambitions and now require a best in class, outstanding Head of PR who will help the company to continue to take market share and position the business as an innovative, young forward thinking success story.

PR and reputation will be a key battleground in driving perception shifts and now need a top class media operator to turn the strategy into execution, building a team and resources to help you deliver.

You will be responsible for owning the companies external communications plan, working with the business leaders and external consultants to deliver perception change for the brand and proposition.

To be considered for this role you will require the following skills and experience:

  • You will have a clear track record of managing media relations for a major corporate or consumer facing brand
  • Pragmatic approach, great temperament and ability to see opportunities to get key messages across.
  • Previous experience working with C suite Executives and Owners.
  • Experience of working with owner/founder led business and disruptive brand would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to get to Birmingham (Head office) for one day a week.
