Gattaca see an opportunity to capitalise on a growing permanent recruitment market in the UK. We are seeking a proven leader with strong experience in permanent recruitment to help Gattaca drive revenue growth for this product line. The individual will join at an exciting time where they can influence and shape our permanent strategy, operating model and best practice.

The role will be both Product owner and operational director accountable for the P&L of all non RPO permanent recruitment, across all brands in the UK and to build on the 2,000+ placements made per annum.

Candidates need to have a proven background in all areas of permanent recruitment, including but not limited to; contingent, PSL, Exclusive and Exec Search. They will be responsible for; designing new go to market offerings, rolling these out across operational teams and successfully delivering growth targets. Increasing the volume, value and quality of all engagement with clients and candidates.

The Head of Permanent Recruitment will report in to the UK Sales Director and will work with all functions across Gattaca, including market and fulfilment leaders, product managers and group support functions. The individual will be accountable for the development of the permanent recruiting strategy for the UK, building out best practice for permanent recruitment across all of our offices, including international, building awareness and developing our skill base for permanent recruitment, all with the clear aim of growing the business.

The Person;

Of graduate calibre, you will have proven experience in leading and developing permanent recruitment teams; managing multi million pound budgets and ensuring optimal performance of a large team.

You will have a successful track record in the design and successful execution of a service strategy. Looking at both service offering and full operational management and with the commercial agility to develop and implement strategic goals and growth plans for the business.

With the gravitas to operate with C-level within major blue-chip organisations and have exceptional leadership and delegation skills, be personable in nature and exceptional communication ability.

You will be ambitious and comfortable working in an environment where continuous improvement is a necessity and transformational change is the norm; striving to hit stretching targets and become a thought leader in service offering.

Responsibilities;

Devising and implementing Gattaca's Permanent recruitment strategy for the UK, delivering growth and full P&L responsibility for non RPO permanent business.

Working with Management Board members on budgeting and planning, setting targets for the UK and determining key performance indicators for new business.

Building of the product offering, devising and deploying the people and commercial strategy for the service line.

Developing and managing relationships with potential clients, influencers and key stakeholders.

Evaluating new opportunities to ensure resources focus on the best opportunities.

Full awareness of the customer and competitor landscape

Leading the development of the service offering for Permanent recruitment, ensuring commerciality and sustainable growth.

Speaking at conference and events about Gattaca's products and services.

Requirements & Attributes;

Preferably degree educated, with a proven track record of achieving multi million business growth within Permanent recruitment.

Gravitas to deal with negotiations at C-level within major organisations, with the commercial agility to develop and implement strategic goals and growth plans for the business.

Natural leader with the ability to inspire performance with sales teams.

Strong commercial outlook and entrepreneurial approach to business.

Results driven individual who enjoys achieving set goals and objectives, with the creativity and ability to adapt and continually move the business forward.

Experience in leading a complex, multi-sector team, ideally within a matrix structure environment.
