Xero is growing rapidly all over the world and the UK is a key market to our growth plans. Xero is now the leading cloud accounting platform in the UK with in excess of 250,000 customers. We love our Accounting Partners, essential we believe, to helping small businesses grow. Therefore, we’re looking for an experienced channel marketing professional to fill a critical and senior role. Our Head of Partner Marketing will shape and lead our partner marketing strategy, supporting our success and continuing phenomenal growth.
You will need to be an authentic leader and experienced marketer who cares about people (your team and our Accounting Partners). You’ll bring proven skills in developing and leading other marketing experts to deliver against an effective plan. You’ll be able to embrace our culture by providing coaching, direction and leadership to those with who you work. You’ll champion and embody the Xero brand, always ensuring we consistently deliver a beautiful experience for our Accounting Partners.
Working with our Director of Partner, you’ll build meaningful, audacious and long-term marketing goals for the channel that will accelerate the pace of Partner recruitment. You’ll create and support the delivery of fresh initiatives that will unlock growth opportunities to win the hearts and minds of the Accounting Partner and Bookkeeping community.
You’ll work cross-functionally with our Brand and Communication teams to deliver campaigns that lift Xero’s profile to even greater heights in the world of Accounting. You’ll be responsible for a significant marketing budget, with which you and your team will deliver high-impact marketing campaigns and demonstrate efficiency in managing our MAC (Marketing Acquisition Costs).
What you will bring…
You’ll be educated to at least degree level and with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing execution, leadership and planning. You’ll have a proven track record of outstanding brand and recruitment skills, you’ll also have prior experience of leading a team of direct reports or cross-functional teams.
You’ll have strong knowledge of marketing technology, especially software and ideally SaaS and the aptitude to get up to speed with new trends and developments in the sector. Any experience or exposure to financial services and/or accounting would be a distinct advantage.
You’ll be a confident communicator and presenter, experienced in B2B marketing practices, driving large scale events and campaigns. You’ll bring the discipline and rigour to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
The role can be based out of our London office (King’s Cross) or out of our Head Office in Milton Keynes and we’re happy to receive applications from people interested in working in either of these locations.
