Head of New business/ Business Development Manager /Client Relationships

Experience working for a contractor in housing (preferably HA)
Business development experience of at least 5 years
Basic knowledge of the Bid / Tender stage
With over 90 years as an established construction Brand in London and the South East my client are looking to grow the Housing Association side of their business.
The division needing the business development manager is the Partnership Housing sector of the business which is to provide a turnkey service to Housing Associations. Sourcing land on which to build multiple homes from 30-150 units. Obtaining planning consent and designing out the buildings.
In addition to land led schemes, to work in partnership, via a 2 stage approach, with selected Private Developer partners. A further specialism being the conversion of office blocks to residential (permitted development) in partnership with Developers and Housing Associations. Project Values from £5m to £20m.
New Role - Head of New Business
We have grown steadily from a turnover of £5m/pa to circa £20m/pa. An excellent reputation is now established for delivering a quality product to both the private and public sector. The next phase of development would need a strategic approach to broaden the horizon. To introduce new routes to sourcing work. The goal being to increase volume, and to provide a more sustainable workflow.
