About The Role
This Central London secondary school are keen to appoint a new Head of Maths from September 2021. They require a Head of Maths who can provide input on the curriculum and learning strategies before September. It is preferred that you are at least an outstanding Maths Teacher with curricular responsibility experience. This experience could extend to having held the post of Second in Charge of Maths, or even a current Head of Maths seeking a new challenge.

Person Specification
They are hoping to employ as Head of Maths an exceptional practitioner who has all the necessary leadership qualities to move the department forward and continue to raise standards further. They hope the new Head of Maths will be a dynamic and inspiring teacher, who is able to lead and develop the staff within the department. It is therefore hoped that you can demonstrate at interview your previous record of supporting Maths Teachers and engaging proactively with pupils in order to improve standards.
