As such the role has a digital bias; however the integration of traditional marketing elements is essential to continuing to raise brand profile and acquire and retain new business, and the wider mix includes Events, Sales support collaterals, PR & Comms, and Brand-led activities. In this respect candidates need to understand the full marketing mix, but be exceptionally well versed in Digital and Online marketing practices, trends, and capabilities.
The role will lead the marketing team and oversee the planning and delivery of marketing for all Group divisions, including the management of budgets and external resources. It will be important to maintain a hands-on role in day-to-day marketing activities, very much 'leading from the front’, and to work collaboratively with Sales and Operations, and with commercial partners and affiliates.
My client is on the search for a digitally led marketing professional with broad experience, B2B or B2C, in all aspects of marketing, especially with the likes of Web, Apps, Paid Search, Affiliate, SEO, Social Media, CRM, and User Experience. The position would suit an aspiring Marketing Director, who understands the commercial implications of marketing, and can hold their own in a senior management structure.
Key responsibilities will include taking ownership of the marketing budget, lead on marketing strategy and implementation and ensure all campaigns are managed within brand standards. You will need to demonstrate significant experience and success of using all the marketing mix with particular emphasis on digital channels. Plan all web marketing, database, email and social media campaigns. To develop and mentor the marketing team, expand existing knowledge and support individual development. Brainstorm and create growth strategies
This would be an ideal move if you are currently operating at Senior Marketing Manager or Head of Marketing level.
Salary for this role is between 40 - 50k
