Our client has successfully evolved into a multi-channel operation that continues to deliver the highest quality information for the consumer food industry on a global basis. As part of their expansion programme they are now keen to recruit a Head Of Marketing Planning to play a key role in ensuring they remain at the leading edge of the food industry.
As Head of Marketing Planning you will oversea a significant transformation period with a key focus upon the companys' business planning strategy. Your role will span all online channels (e.g. social media, email, websites, webinars) and offline channels (e.g. events, printed advertising). As marketing champion for the company, you will create a new customer orientated planning function which will interface closely with internal and external stakeholders, managing long term marketing strategy as well as being able to respond effectively to short term opportunities. With ownership of the overall marketing spend, and the management of a medium sized marketing team, you will drive continuous improvement with particular focus upon enhancing the web-site strategy and enhancing lead generation capabilities for the business.
To apply, you will currently be operating within either a retail, consultancy or fmcg environment, be strategic and customer focused and have delivered both on and offline marketing programmes in a b2b sector. You will have a working knowledge of digital marketing automation technology and be able to demonstrate strong leadership ability, a good track record of growing online marketing ROI utilising SEO, PPC, and affiliates and have experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM to drive marketing segmentation. An excellent understanding of the food and grocery industry will also be key.
