My client, a financial services business based in Chester is looking for a Head of Marketing to join their marketing team. Applicants must have a strong strategic marketing background at senior level, ideally with financial services or regulated environment background. 

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate the creation the of overall national marketing strategy encompassing brand identity, Client journey and creative ad communications approach
Facilitate the creation and execution of local / regional marketing strategies encompassing Client prospecting, referrals and Client engagement
Create and deliver a marketing plan and Client engagement strategy and support propositions in a compelling and engaging way to target segments and geographical regions through:
Analogue and digital media
Community partnerships
Website content
email CRM
Being the lead coordinator for events, exhibitions, pop up box office
Leaflet distribution and off-site promotion
Corporate opportunities – hospitality and sponsorship
Direct the development and execution of national marketing communications initiatives proposition launches, sales collateral, tradeshows, campaigns, social site presence, company website, public relations, internal communication, regulatory communications and corporate events
Establish, own and drive a strategic internal and external communications calendar that positively affects employees’ and clients’ understanding, engagement and commitment with the result of an even stronger connection to the company and leads to a return on investment
Manage the marketing budget, assessing ROI where possible to evaluate and refine the effectiveness of activity
Determine projects which should be completed internally and externally
Manages relationships with outside vendors as necessary and within budget
Drive continual process improvements and implement best practices to manage projects efficiently
Establish robust control processes across briefing, output reviews, approval matrices, content audits and vendor management
Implement campaign effectiveness and ROI measures through use of basic web and referral analytics
Own and develop the group’s Web Properties across externally facing public websites as well as the company’s internally facing extranet
Own and develop key supplier relationships that include print houses, design and website development agencies
Ensure all marketing and communications articulate engaging content and imagery that meets the Brand guidelines all mediums
Oversees production processes across all communication mediums, ensuring timely delivery and quality in presentation
Manages creative/graphic development for print, digital and merchandising requirements
Ensures web development and delivery supports effective communication of organization messages
Initiates, manages and evolves marketing programs to engage prospects and clients to increase sales pipeline, help close deals, deepen client loyalty and support retention
Manages members of the Marketing team and in doing so mentors, develops and coaches individuals in order to continuously grow the capability of the team
Owns and coordinates the internal communications plan using a variety of mediums to keep all team members up to date, engaged and motivated

Skills Required:
Educated to Degree level
Must have extensive marketing mix within a regulated environment (financial services, professional or investment management) 
Salary up to £50k 
Holidays 25 + bank holidays
