As part of the senior management team, you will be responsible for the underwriting and customer service teams within the business. You will be a strong people leader committed to providing excellent levels of service to customers, have a track record of developing processes and systems to ensure a smooth customer journey and a good working knowledge of FCA and TCF guidelines. You will also be an advocate of the company’s commitment to identify talent, develop people and progress careers through engagement, effective utilisation of the L&D team and external training. You will also have a strong technical ability within underwriting and will work with other members of the senior team to ensure that you deliver against the underwriting mandate and maximise business opportunities.
It is essential that you have a strong knowledge of underwriting within the financial service or insurance sectors. You will also have experience in managing multiple teams within customer service, ideally at a time of high growth and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. You will be passionate about the levels of service delivered to customers and genuinely care about the business as a whole and the teams you lead.
