We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established social housing provider in London, they currently have an opportunity for a Head of Land on a permanent basis.

As the Regional lead for Land and New Business, the Head of Land will play an integral part in the growth of the organisation, and the management of the regional development teams.
Being a newly formed role, the successful candidate will have a rare opportunity to create a new regional land team, with the skills and expertise to grow the quantum and quality of the homes we build.
The Land team and ultimately the Head of Land; will be responsible to source and secure a pipeline of short/medium/long term development opportunities, in line with the organisations development strategy. This will include JV’S, land led, Strategic Land & Section 106 schemes to deliver homes for rent (subsidised rent & market rent), shared ownership and market sale.

Requirements:
You must have Extensive development experience and commercial acumen is a must, in this vital leadership role.
5-10 years’ experience of large scale residential property development/investment for a Housing Association, Developer, housebuilder, investor or Similar is key to this role
An exceptional ability to understand, analyse and advice upon complex technical, financial and legal information is essential, ensuring all development risks are suitably identified and mitigated.
Above all this is a leadership role, which requires someone who can inspire and motivate a team to achieve best in class developments.
