Our client is one of the largest private pension schemes in the UK. Their wholly owned subsidiary oversee the investment of over 70% of the scheme's assets. They manage and administer both the pension scheme and the majority of their investments in house.

They are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager/ Head of Investment Valuations to join their Finance Department in London to provide support to manage the valuations process for the Investment segment of the organisation

?As Head of Investment Valuations/Senior Manager Investment Valuations, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and regularly reviewing the Group Investment Valuations process
  • Providing independent valuation assurance for the investment portfolio
  • Developing investment valuation policy in line with ongoing business and finance requirements
  • Reviewing scope, internal modelling capability and frequency of valuations, implementing enhancements as required
  • Managing relationship with external valuation adviser

To be successful, you will be:

  • ?A professionally Qualified Accountant (ACA, CACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Have an excellent track record of managing investment valuations
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Experience of influencing at Executive level, with the ability to introduce new ways of thinking
  • Be a dynamic and motivational leader
