What you’ll be doing

Reporting directly to (and in her absence deputising for) the Executive Director of People, Talent & OD, you will lead and successfully deliver high quality, commercially focused, 'best-in-class’ HR, Resources and Training services. You will ensure regulatory requirements, company policies, our own expectations and our Mission, Vision and Values are communicated appropriately and embedded within the organisation.

You will direct and advise on legal matters relating to employment law and best practice, lead key people processes such as salary review, bonus approval/payment, recruitment, on boarding, talent, competency framework, PDD, manager induction and exiting and ensure maximum benefits are delivered from the investment of automated systems.

You will work on multiple projects within HR, Recruitment, OD & Training.

There will be travel to homes and other sites within the organisation (with occasional overnight stays as required) and an opportunity to implement significant change and improvement within the Directorate.

What you’ll need

You’ll need drive, energy and experience of building excellent working relationships, generating trust and influence, across all levels within a commercial, fast-moving multi-site/multi-disciplined organisation.

You must have the ability to balance strategic and operational requirements; Mentor, coach and develop senior management; Work closely with Management teams to manage risk, build capability and to implement talent, succession, engagement and leadership activities for the business; Facilitate organisational, cultural and business change associated with the growth of the business, championing strong HR, Resource and Training delivery; Develop and implement commercially focused, best practice policies, contracts, job descriptions and processes, monitoring, reviewing and updating as required; Drive all HR, Resource & Training activities throughout the Company; Develop high quality HR, Resources and Training analytics/MI to influence evidence based decision making and develop a compelling employee value proposition for current and future talent.

If you have expert knowledge of ER and UK employment law and offer a degree level qualification in business, experience in human resources management and are CIPD qualified with evidence of continuous professional development, apply today.
