Are you the type of commercial HR professional who thrives on helping build something special? Our Client is an incredibly impressive entrepreneur who, having already built a highly successful business, is now looking to drive it to the next level.
Their business greatly improves people’s lives and has a superb and proven concept, a strong foothold in their market, a track record of delivering positive results and importantly, it has a very clear ethos and offering driven by the highly engaging and knowledgeable Founder.
With a current annual turnover in the region of £5m and approximately 100 staff on their payroll, the Founder feels that it is now the right time to bring the HR and training function in-house. This will allow the opportunity to review the current structure in all related areas, build highly efficient, streamlined processes, create even greater engagement and enable more effective reporting to support commercial decision making. In turn, you will work closely with the Founder to build the growth plan/strategy and have a key role to play in advising and deciding on a variety of HR related areas.
Too many adverts use words like 'exciting’, 'unique’ or 'rare opportunity’, however this is one of the occasions where words such as this are in the correct context. This has been an amazing story to date and this role provides an opportunity to be an integral part of the next few chapters.
You will need to have experience of running an HR function within a growth business, a proven background of implementing process and systems improvements, training, development and engagement and a thorough understanding of the likely challenges faced by an ambitious SME.
This business is a high-end product and to be successful within this position, you will need to buy-in to the business and be excited by the concept of supporting and working with the highly driven, engaging MD.
