An ambitious and dedicated Head of History / History Teacher looking to step into a Head of Department role is required from January to join a fantastic and growing secondary school in East London.

Must be a History specialist. Experienced History teachers and current HODs should apply.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented History Teacher to lead the Humanities Department and flourish in a close community of exceptional teaching staff. You will be responsible for teaching across all ability levels. Initially you will be teaching up to and including KS3, but as the school grows, GCSE will follow.

Joining this new school and leading the Humanities Department will allow you to develop your skills alongside dynamic and creative teachers in a non-traditional school setting. The new HOD will have the ability to develop and promote the curriculum for GCSE and progress in their career aspirations quickly as the school continues to grow.
