Head of Financial Reporting systems

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Financial Planning and Reporting

• Manage the completion of the current budget exercise, ensuring all queries are resolved and all amendments are incorporated into the draft budget
• Manage the annual budgetary and forecasting process as well as preparing the budgetary board packs and presentations
• Create a process to upload phased budgets directly into Oracle
• Production of the monthly management accounts for the company Executive
• Manage the month end timetable including producing standard reporting packs (for the finance business partners to add commentaries)
• Responsible for the quality and accuracy of performance variance analysis and commentary (with assistance from Business Partners)
• Provision of direct support to the CFO in regards to financial reporting
• Ensure the integrity of finance data, process month end adjustments, deal with basic finance queries, maintain staffing files, process month end adjustments and maintain the standard suite of reports
Leadership and Supervision

• Lead and support the finance systems reporting team which includes 6 direct reports who manage the GL
• Identify, develop, mentor and upskill the team to be able to successfully perform roles and empower team members to deliver results
• Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing within team

Influencing and Engagement

• Work with other functions in the business to deliver improved systems and process
• Collaborate with people from across the whole organisation and across external networks to achieve the best outcomes across these areas of responsibility
