Harris Hill are recruiting for a Head of Finance & Resources for this Health Charity based in Surrey.
You will manage a team of 4 finance staff leading the operation and performance of the Finance Department and contribute to the strategic direction of the finance function
You will also be responsible for treasury management, tax administration, statutory and management reporting and a trading subsidiary to provide accurate information to directors and budget holders and to ensure compliance with the Charity Commission, Companies House and HMRC.
You will need to have strong charity experience, be a qualified accountant with strong leadership skills. Hands-on Statutory Financial Accounts, budget planning process and preparation of the annual budget for the Society ensuring strong processes are in place for resource allocation and performance monitoring at all levels.
The position requires you to also provide timely and accurate financial information, reporting, analysis and advice to the Chief Executive, Trustee Board and Committees - to inform robust strategic and operational decision-making. Lead the charity's annual budgeting process and be responsible for the production our annual budget.
