A highly successful, market leading organisation who are closely linked to the education sector, have retained BondMoran to recruit a new, strategic and credible Head of Finance, experienced in providing finance support and advice to schools, academies and Multi-Academy Trusts.
The business has a superb and proven concept, a strong foothold in their market and a very impressive track record of delivering positive results. Importantly, it has a very clear ethos and offering driven by the highly knowledgeable Senior Management Team.
The business operates within a growth sector and this will be a highly varied position, involving regular, client visits mainly within London and the Home Counties to trouble shoot, consult and advise, as well as acting as a brand ambassador and identifying commercial opportunities.
Capable of quickly assimilating information and assessing the circumstances of clients, you will deliver excellent operational finance support as well as offering high-level strategic challenge and support trouble shooting, setting of budgets, reviewing procedures and discussing operational finance management and reporting.
Reporting into and working closely with a highly driven, engaging Commercial Director, you will be aleader with strong financial management experience, gained within the education sector working with schools, Academies and Multi-Academy Trusts.
You must also have an ingrained customer service ethic, good communication skills at all stakeholder levels and the ability to see and deliver commercial opportunities in our market.
The responsibilities of this role are wide ranging, varied and include mentoring, managing and developing a Finance team, driving constant improvement working with the Commercial Director on a number of projects, as well overseeing the day-to-day running of this wide-reaching function.
You will be experienced in strategic and operational financial advice, management, hiring, developing standards, fostering teamwork, managing profitability, promoting process improvement and building relationships.
Skilled in organisational astuteness and financial management, commercial awareness, people skills, retaining employees, negotiating, trouble-shooting and presenting.
