Head of Facilitised business

·Lloyds broker based in the CIty are currently seeking an experienced Binder expert. You will have the responsibility to establish and manage a team which acts as the "go to" team for all advice related to the construction and maintenance of BAA's & Lineslips.
·To establishes and maintain a governance process that ensures the completion of appropriate business cases for all new facilities and challenges such to ensure alignment with strategy
·Proactively deliver and maintains a suite of Management Information reports that are dynamic in nature and able to address the daily requirements of the MGA Underwriters concerning available aggregate.
·Liaise with key team leaders and stake holders to ensure that the team delivers the appropriate level of support for each unit. The levels of support will need to be flexible and take into account existing resources and skill sets and respect such.
·Considers and recommends amendments to the end to end process - including processing elements, that would enhance the service delivered by the team
·Manages all levels of audit applicable to facilities, including internal audits and also those required by capacity providers and Lloyd's.

Detailed tasks;
·Maintain a detailed awareness of regulatory requirements and changes related to BAA's & lineslips
·Register and check all new Binding Authority contracts & Lineslips
·Work with the team leaders to establish an appropriate business case applicable to each new contract and ensure the authorisation of the business case by the appropriate Managing Director
·Check that the new contracts are aligned with the overall business & territorial strategies in place across the Group
·Understand and record level of "risk" linked to Contract
·Maintain library of facilities, including limits, carriers & business lines and thereby deliver appropriate and current data analysis related to the facilitised business in place for the Group
·Sign off XB risk record, prior to any transactions being processed
·Maintain Atlas & BARS
·Create and maintain process maps for the end to end process, including required data capture and management information
·Oversee the credit control requirements of the faciitised book

Key Skills required
·Experience in processing binding authorities and line slips for North American and International Clients

·Understanding of the Lloyds reporting requirements relative to delegated authorities

·Confident and proactive in communication with Clients and senior colleagues

·Experience in managing staff and ability to work within a matrix management structure

·Respectful , self-motivated and disciplined

·Ability to produce Market Reform Contracts and Endorsements and maintain awareness of changing requirements

·Ability to communicate with Clients and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner

·Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines

·Computer literate, including good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint packages

·Experience in the use of London Market processes and systems
