My client is the world's leading IT media publisher. They produce a number of market leading B2B and consumer content brands. Additionally, they have a well-established portfolio of events that service some of the world's best tech firms. The Events Sales Manager will be responsible for the firms UK events strategy and commercial performance.
Responsibilities will include developing industry leading relationships with events contacts at clients as well as agencies.
Writing and executing the events sales pricing strategy for the business.
Sales of the businesses events portfolio to both clients and agencies using a consultative style.
Close working relationships with other arms of the business including marketing and operations to ensure clear execution of events.
The Ideal candidate
Will have 4 or more years of successfully selling custom events and owned event sponsorship.
Client and agency sales experience is essential.
First class interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a team are a must.
