Reqiva are currently working with a successful engineering company in their search for a Group Head of Engineering!
Our client is a medium sized business who are very well-established company who provide Embedded Processor solutions across multiple sectors.
This role requires a highly experienced Engineering Manager or Technical Director who is particularly experienced in managing teams across Embedded Systems, High-Speed hardware design and ideally Mechanical design. Although it is not essential that you have experience in all of the above you will need to come from management background at least one or more of those disciplines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing up to 11 members of staff in the UK as well as off-shore teams in India and the USA.
*Resourcing, planning and coordinating project development activities in collaboration with team managers in multiple locations.
*Ensuring product plans and goals are met and delivered on time.
*Working with colleagues across the business to achieve goals across Development, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing and Purchasing.
Skills and Experience required:
*Highly experienced manager of technical teams within Embedded, High-Speed digital Hardware design, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
*Engineering Graduate within a related subject such as Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or Similar.
*In depth technical and people management skills.
