A regional practice just outside the city centre in South Manchester is looking for an Employment solicitor.
The firm in question does not currently have an established employment department, and this is an opportunity for an experienced claimant employment solicitor to work closely with the partners to establish an employment offering to a Manchester wide client base. The role offers a lot of opportunity in terms of progression and expansion of a team, the scope to take ownership of your own case load and its direction, and the firm is entirely open to negotiation in terms of salaries and fee share agreements.
The role will have the full backing of the marketing team as well as strong management, but the ideal solicitor for the position will have strong business development skills and a keen eye for potential areas of further growth. You will have at least three years of post-qualification experience, and ideally will have had exposure to defendant as well as claimant work - although this is not essential. You must demonstrate a strong desire to progress and be confident starting out as a sole fee earner.
