Role Summary

RightTrack Learning is a second-generation, ‘boutiquey’ learning and development company that’s been designing and delivering training solutions for organisations across all sectors since 1988. In more recent years they have become known for their impact in the Diversity and Inclusion training arena. They are known for their ability to craft bespoke solutions with a creative twist and regularly incorporate actors into training design. RightTrack shuns the usual corporate vibe and opts instead for a flexible, forward-thinking, people-focussed approach to doing business.

The Head of Diversity & Inclusion Training Design & Innovation will be responsible for keeping RightTrack at the cutting edge of the Diversity and Inclusion learning and development arena. Not only will they ensure proposals and training courses reflect new methodologies and topical content, the Head of Diversity & Inclusion Training Design & Innovation will have a strong focus on ensuring every learning journey is memorable for the delegate and delivers a strong return-on-investment for the client. If desired, you will also have an opportunity to deliver training and implement initiatives as part of client projects to keep a hand in delivery whilst testing out new activities and approaches. 

In addition to working closely with customers, sales and marketing colleagues, the Head of Diversity & Inclusion Training Design & Innovation will collaborate with the Lead Director to establish new, profitable revenue streams. Although there are existing projects on the agenda, this will be an ever-evolving role that can be steered by, and grow with, the successful candidate.

Role and Responsibilities

Customer Consultations, Training Design (and Delivery) ~ 60%

  • Support sales colleagues to win projects by attending customer meetings, writing compelling proposals and participating in winning pitches that outline bespoke Diversity and Inclusion related learning and development solutions that are stand-out in terms of creativity, impact and value for money.
  • Design or customise training programme content that delivers on winning proposals.
  • Optional: Deliver Diversity & Inclusion related training programmes. (Training will be delivered with and without actors and may be delivered online or face-to-face.)
  • Lead the team to consistently evaluate the success of bespoke D&I training projects. Proactively utilise evaluation data to drive improvements internally and help marketing colleagues generate new business opportunities externally through award-winning case studies.
  • Regularly bring to the table new ideas that ensures RightTrack Learning is at the cutting edge of the Diversity and Inclusion arena. Work with the marketing team to weave new concepts and discussions into marketing content to position RightTrack Learning as a thought-leader
  • Be responsible for the upkeep of programme outlines and proposal content, ensuring they are i) always reflective of the cutting-edge methodologies, activities and hot topics we are weaving into solutions at any one time, and ii) available in a way that streamlines the enquiry response process.

Driving Growth Through Innovation ~ 40%

In the first instance there are two new revenue-generating projects that the Head of Design & Innovation will work on but there will be plenty of opportunity to propose new ideas as the role evolves.  Details of these projects will be shared with shortlisted candidates.

Each project is multi-faceted and may involve research, innovation, networking and external collaborations, working with colleagues to build a marketing and sales strategy, writing new content, designing resources, input on commercials and measurement, and managing a budget.
