This is a rare chance to develop a new team and a new marketing approach for a substantially-sized, forward thinking company.
We are looking for an experienced Digital B2B (business to business) Marketer, to have overall responsibility for OCS's Marketing and Communications, but with a clear mandate to build a digital presence and capability. You will be in charge of a demanding but fantastic opportunity to build a brand new marketing function, it's strategy and activities. Alongside this you will also be upgrading internal engagement with staff, with again a heavy emphasis on digital media.
There would be five discrete areas of responsibility:
Work with the Marketing & Strategy Director to develop both a new Marketing Team of 5 staff and an effective Marketing Strategy
You will have responsibility for the maintenance and development of the websites for the UK but also globally, operating across 16 countries
Working with five Sectors (market-facing businesses) to establish distinctive propositions which are then worked through to the sales teams to differentiate OCS in the marketplace
Designing and implementing B2B marketing campaigns across the UK business, working with the five Sectors to target specific companies and build eminence for the UK as a whole with a specific emphasis on content marketing. This would also involve management responsibility for the company's Net Promoter Score programme.
Golden opportunity to reinvent internal communications to reflect modern media and engage 26,000+ UK staff. We have a strong desire for an innovative approach embracing social media as far as practicable, as well as encompassing existing showcase events such as annual Staff Awards and management conferences.
This role would also involve management responsibility for the company's extensive hospitality portfolio, marketing tickets for OCS-managed venues to both market-facing users and internal sales. These include high status venues such as The Oval, The O2, NEC, London Stadium and Manchester City FC (The Etihad Stadium).
- Educated to degree level with an MBA and CIM preferred
Working experience/Personal attributes
- Must have managed a Digital Marketing team
- Strong experience in B2B digital inbound marketing, encompassing both website activities (Web build, SEO, Paid search etc.) plus content marketing
- Experience of high quality, low volume marketing
- Ideally has internal communications experience, as engaging the internal audience will be important in achieving successful outcomes
- Strong interpersonal skills are required, as this will be a new team in a new location
