You'll be working as the Head of Development for a multi-discipline team of circa 120, leading the development and maintenance of a critical SaaS platform, whilst remaining fully hands-off.

The remit of the Head of Development position is to own the development function and the associated activities, such as setting future roadmaps, pastoral care and managing the progression of the members of your team - with progression being a core value of the business, whilst dealing with Senior stakeholders at boardroom level.

As part of a wider business of 400, you'll be responsible for the core products, as the organisation makes an exciting foray into America and beyond. You'll be at the heart of strategies for both the UK-based development function and helping define the route to success for global domination.

You won't still be hands on, but you will still have your finger on the pulse of technology. I would imagine you've come from a Development Manager/ Head of Development role previously and have previously held ultimate responsibility for defining practices.
