Head of Contracts and Commissioning
An exciting and high-profile opportunity with this local employer of choice. A newly created position, this role will lead and develop the Contracts, Procurement and Commissioning functions and be this organisation's subject matter expert on procurement and contract management. This will involve establishing new teams and ways of working to support it's transformation over the next three years. Key areas of focus are to: establish a service and contract management team; establish a central function to source and deliver commissioned contracts for various type of industry outcomes, define a procurement strategy; establish a commissioning delivery team; and persuade, negotiate and influence internally at Board level and across the organisation.
Demonstrable experience across the above is essential with the behaviours and credibility to communicate and influence at all levels a pre-requisite. With extensive procurement experience, you will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of OJEU and its practical application. With further scope for growth in the role, this high-profile and autonomous position will pay a vital role in shaping this organisations continued success.
