Head of Channel Development / Channel Sales Manager

A genuine career opportunity has come up for an experienced and talented Head of Channel Development / Channel Sales Manager. You will be required to recruit and manage new channel partners (NSPs, MSPs and SIs) for a leading and cutting edge application and network monitoring software vendor. You will be walking into a warm pipeline and have the opportunity to really stamp your mark within a business that has tangible growth forecast.

BASIC SALARY: £65,000 - £70,000 OTE; £130,000 - £140,000

BENEFITS: Pension, Healthcare, 24 days holiday rising to 30 with service,

LOCATION: Godalming

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Reading, Guildford, Woking, Slough, Chertsey, Crawley, Basingstoke, London.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Head of Channel Development / Channel Sales Manager

You will have the opportunity to walk into an already successful account base and active pipeline. With this in mind you will be expected to:-

• Develop new business through the recruitment of channel partners
• Manage existing channel partners both NSPs, MSPs and SIs
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipelines
• Cross pollinate all areas of sales, supporting each area where possible
• Train and motivate each channel partner to encourage sales growth
• Be field based, reporting into the UK head office (Godalming) 2-3 times per week

REQUIREMENTS: Head of Channel Development/ Channel Sales Manager

You will already have a proven Channel Sales background, but in order to be successful you will also be required to have:-

• Proven experience recruiting and managing channel partners (Network Service Providers, Distributors and MSPs/VARS)
• Proven sales management experience, have the ability to deliver against sales and revenue targets
• Strong relationship management skills
• Experience of SAAS, Networking technology, Cloud or software
• The ability to network confidently across channel and end user markets
• Strong motivation and passion

Having been established for 15 years this business has seen significant & sustained growth year on year and expects to grow by a further 30% over the next 12 months. Currently they employ 30 personnel and expect major expansion of the team.
Their route to market is a pure channel reseller model, using leading distribution partners to help them expand and get their service offerings to market;
