Head of Campus Operations (Birmingham)
The University of Law is one of the UK’s leading providers of legal education and training, working right at the heart of the legal profession and with an impressive history going back to 1876. We bring together teaching of the highest quality, a focus on practical skills and innovative learning styles to deliver perfect preparation for life in legal practice and ongoing professional development.
Birmingham is one of Europe’s most vibrant cities; a great place to live and work, it boasts one of the largest concentrations of law firms and lawyers outside of London. Our Birmingham campus is located in the city’s Jewellery Quarter, just a short walk away from the centre of the city and other universities.
Reporting directly to the Campus Dean, the Head of Campus Operations will be a key leader within the campus team and will ensure the effective running of all campus operations and services whilst promoting the continual enhancement of the student experience and environment. The diverse team ranges from facilities, library, student services, assessments and careers.
This role would suit a professional manager with experience of similar operations management (education experience would be beneficial but not essential). You will be exceptionally customer service focused with strong administrative skills. The successful candidate will possess developed people management skills who can act as a positive champion during a period of change. A sound knowledge of health and safety compliance, effective auditing skills and a commercial approach are essential.
For a confidential discussion and/or the further particulars, please contact our retained advisor Sian Gardiner.
The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) has been exclusively retained for this campaign. All direct and third-party applications will be forwarded to MRG. Direct applications to the University will not be accepted.
