Head of Business Development & Impact
Applications are invited for the post of Head of Business Development and Impact in the Department of Research & Enterprise.
We have an outstanding opportunity for you to make a genuine contribution to achieving Royal Holloway’s research and knowledge exchange ambitions. As a member of a newly formed Senior Management Team (SMT) within the Department, you will play a key role in supporting the University’s Research and Knowledge Exchange Strategy by providing overall leadership and operational management for the Business Development and Impact team, as well as acting as a strategic lead for the support and development of business development and knowledge transfer activities. You will work as a member of the Department’s SMT to ensure a strategically focused and seamless research and knowledge exchange service.
You will have a first degree and ideally a post graduate level degree or equivalent experience in a research setting, as well as extensive experience of working at a senior level within a research, commercialisation or knowledge exchange capacity. You will have experience of working with local/national agencies to increase the uptake of research by business and industry, as well as experience of successfully winning funding to support knowledge exchange and managing key accounts to maximise value for both parties and develop long term partnerships.
