Head of Bar & Restaurant

My Client based in Cambourne are recruiting for a Head of Bar & Restaurant to join there team.

Main duties will include but not limited to:
• Running the bar & restaurant
• Generating business
• Taking orders
• Organizing and planning the staff rota
• Stock orders & rotation
• Working to a GP
• Staff training
• Health & safety practice
• Being aware of food allergies
• Bar licencing


The successful candidate must have:
• At least a year of general experience and managerial experience in a restaurant
• A strong understanding of the ordering process and the importance of stock control
• The ability to work to and meet budgetary requirements
• A comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Health and Safety within a Kitchen, including but not limited to COSHH, HACCP and Risk Assessments
• A great knowledgeof menus using fresh, local produce
• The ability to motivate and lead the rest of the team
• A full driving license and access to own transport
