We are looking for a talented individual to join Bath Cats and Dogs Home (RSPCA Bath & District Branch), a local and innovative charity committed to improving animal welfare.

Through our centre we rescue, rehabilitate and rehome over 1,200 animals each year who are unwanted and far too often neglected and mistreated. Outwardly we work to improve animal welfare through supporting vulnerable pet owners and promoting good pet ownership.

The Head of Animal Operations is responsible for the successful fulfilment of the wider animal welfare programme. This includes leading the strategic and operational development and delivery of animal welfare programmes in BCDH - and outside in our local community.

Your team's focus, through rescue and rehabilitation, is on delivering exceptional animal welfare standards. Whilst through effective rehoming, securing the best outcomes for rescue animals, alongside offering the very best customer experience to adopters. You will also look outwardly, ensuring we meet our objective of improving animal welfare in our local communities.

The post holder will need to be forward-thinking and inspiring, enabling them to lead and motivate animal care, rehoming, vet, behaviour and project teams. You will have a proven successful track record in delivering strategy and driving innovation.
