Job title: Head of Adult and Online Salary: £49,811 per annumHours: 37 Full-Time (Permanent)Start date: ASAPClosing date: 15th March 2021A day in the life of.....Leading the Adult Online Learning team to develop and implement the College's adult learning strategy and achieve engagement by inspiring the whole College to develop an innovative and unrivalled adult learning approach. This will be achieved by establishing the College as a leading online training provider in England.Ensuring that the Adult & Online delivery team provide a supportive service to curriculum staff to allow new opportunities to arise and to identify and rapidly harness them. Lead on the delivery of the business model, ensuring the College has an accredited brand and work on the tender, procurement and bid writing processes for all adult funding opportunities that arise in line with the College's strategy.You will be liaising with multiple head of departments to ensure the effective delivery of the College's online programmes. Whilst maintaining your teams focus on delivering an efficient support to all key stakeholders involved.This role is brand new and has numerous development opportunities for the College as well as the appointed individual.Skills/experience required:To have managerial experience in leading teams, knowledge of online adult learning programmes, knowledge of Microsoft IT packages, knowledge of pedagogies and production methodologies for online and digital learning. Understanding of design and delivery of commercial learning, production of digital guidance and experience embedding institutional responses to national and local policy. Qualifications required: Degree or equivalent professional qualification in digital learning. English & Maths at level 2 or above Ideal attributes of applicant:Comfortable talking and engaging with a wide variety of key stakeholders, highly organised and a high attention to detail, keen interest in developing digital learning, ability to lead and inspire a diverse team to achieve their potential and add value to the College.
