Morson are working with our client, A key player in the Health care Industry to recruit a Head of Manufacturing for a large site based in Livingston.

Joining a growing organisation, this role requires a candidate with excellent leadership & communication skills to direct team members.

Key responsibilities:

Direct manufacturing staff to ensure timely deliver and right first time execution of manufacturing operations
Maintain manufacturing suites to the highest level of cGMP compliance
Build, maintain and motivate a multi-technology team
Responsible for ensuring the day to day functionality of all manufacturing suites including all equipment.
To ensure that all planned manufacturing are completed according to the required quality standard and within the allocated timelines
Partner with multi-disciplined teams to ensure outcomes are met
Drive operational efficiencies, reliable schedule adherence, and on time delivery of product, whilst maintaining the ability to react to changing customer requirements.
Own the manufacturing plan and lead in manufacturing planning meetings ensuring efficient labour and asset utilisation to deliver On-time In-full delivery against the demand plan.

Life Science degree (Chemistry, Pharmacy or Biological sciences) or equivalent with at least 10 years relevant industry experience
At least 5 years experience in a Manufacturing or related leadership role
Proven ability to work to key regulatory and compliance requirements
Client relationship management experience, ideally within a contract manufacturing environment
Organisation and efficiency skills
Leadership and interpersonal skills
