Head Chef, Billericay Restaurant, £30,000-£35,000pa
At Select Hospitality Chelmsford we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Head Chef.
We are looking for an ambitious head chef who is passionate about working with raw ingredients. Must have at least 5 years catering experience, be punctual, hardworking and a team player.
*To run a kitchen and lead a team of passionate chefs in Billericay to deliver food to the highest quality.
* The Head Chef will be responsible for the recruitment, staff development and training of their kitchen team.
* The Head Chef will be in charge of counting stock and minimising wastage.
* To maintain all systems and documentation for Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and COSHH legislation and confirm with best practice in the industry.
Experience and Skills required
*The Head Chef must have suitable previous work experience.
*A passion for locally sourced ingredients and a desire to drive the business forward.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills.
*Responsible and trustworthy.
*Flexible and willing to go that extra mile
*Enthusiastic about staff training and development.
*Good leadership skills.
Salary and Benefits
*Great salary package of between; £30,000-£35,000pa
