This rustic gastro pub, which is about to undergo an extensive restructure, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Head Chef to join its brigade. You will be leading a brigade of 5 chefs. This position will also suit a Senior Sous Chef looking to step up to their first Head Chef position. You will be creating fine seasonal British cuisine to a very high standard with a strong focus on using only the freshest, seasonal produce available. You must be from a strong fine dining background, ideally of at least a 2 AA Rosette standard.
As Head Chef you will be responsible for restructuring the kitchen, planning new menus and developing the kitchen team. You will also be responsible for all stock control, financial discipline within the kitchen, waste control as well as developing and motivating the brigade under your leadership. A competitive starting salary of £35,000 per annum along with performance related bonuses is available for the right Head Chef.
