**Head Chef - Rudgewick - Horsham - £30,000pa Live in available**
We are currently looking for an outstanding Head Chef for a traditional community focused pub. Fresh produce, traditional British dishes, modern technique and an Asian influence make up this pubs excellent food offering. Fresh sourdough made daily, charcuterie cured and ageing on-site and big plans for the future (think kitchen garden, a smoker, stone bread oven) this is a role for an ambitious Chef. Working closely with the owner, himself a Chef to develop the kitchen and menus, this position is definitely one for a chef with vision.
The ideal candidate will come from a quality background with exposure to a variety of cooking styles and have a progressive work history. Working with an established team you must be a great manager and mentor, allowing the development of junior chefs; whilst building on an established reputation and an already very successful business.
You MUST ensure food and hygiene standards are kept high. HACCP and COSHH requirements must also be met. You will be financially astute and have firm control of both the budget and labour costings. You will ultimately have control of menus so a creative flair is a must.
The position is paying £30,000 per annum for the perfect candidate and live-in accommodation
