Head Chef Oxfordshire- Thames-side Restaurant! £35K
We are looking to recruit a Head Chef to take the reins at this privately owned Riverside restaurant based in Oxfordshire. They are sat on the bank of the Thames and are very much a British restaurant food offering.
Everything is made in house where possible and they have access to some great local suppliers. We are looking for a Head Chef for this Oxfordshire business that has a real passion for cooking, that is very hands-on and who can work with the owner to really push the offering forward. The owner is quite open minded about the new Head Chef really having some say on what comes out of the kitchen. There is the opportunity here to put your food on the map!
Working around 50 hours a week, your working week will consist of a couple of splits and a couple of straights. Again, the owner is open minded about operational hours of the kitchen, just as long as you can deliver the covers and run the back of house.
As the Head Chef Oxfordshire, you will oversee a team of 3 Chefs and X2 KP's.
Ideal applicants will be a Sous Chef or Head Chef already, where you have ideally run a modern restaurant or gastro pub. We are looking for someone with sound back-office experience.
Having spoken to the client, they would also be open to taking on an experienced Sous Chef looking for their first Head Chef position.

Salary being offered is up to £35K DOE
