My Client is a superb high end restaurant located in central Bristol that commands a loyal following of high end customers. Their name is known throughout the city and they run several well known, quality led establishments with this site holding a coveted AA Rosette. The menu here focuses on well executed meat and fish dishes with a superb wine list. Also available are a selection of smaller plates and charcuterie. They are looking to add an energetic and enthusiastic Head Chef to their team of 6 chefs. This is a great opportunity for a Head Chef to develop their skills with a great Bristol business with an exciting future ahead!

Key skills for the Head Chef:

  • Comfortable running all kinds of service from quiet shifts to busy weekend brunch.
  • Proficient in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
  • Sound knowledge of all admin, health & safety, rotas etc.
  • Able to write, cost and adjust menus as and when required
  • Pace, Energy, Positivity and Enthusiasm - you need to have this in droves!

Previous Experience for the Head Chef:

  • Previous experience up to Senior Sous Chef level in a fresh food kitchen.
  • Experience with high volume.
  • Evidence of culinary skills and achievement.
