A Head Chef role is available at a top quality restaurant located in South West London
A restaurant that has built up a strong following is seeking a Head Chef to take control of the kitchen to ensure it continues to deliver the high standards that its customers have come to expect. The restaurant offers small plates, with simple but high quality dishes that focus on flavour with the restaurant serving between 80-100 covers each service. In this role of Head Chef you will be leading a team of fifteen chefs working in the kitchen creating every dish from scratch and ensuring that the company standards are adhered to at all times. At the same time you will also be required to manage the financial performance of the kitchen ensuring that you achieve your targets and control costs wherever possible without affecting quality.
The role needs a chef who has worked at Head or Sous Chef level in a restaurant with 3 AA Rosettes or a 1 Michelin star property having built a strong background in the industry. At the same time all applicants should have excellent team leadership skills with the ability to train your team to the standards in place at the restaurant as well as have a sound financial acumen.
