An experienced Head Chef is required to join a busy 4 star hotel located in Wiltshire

Role:

The General Manager of a large, four star hotel with multi-outlet dining operation is seeking a Head Chef to take control of the busy kitchen department at the property. The hotel is a popular venue with a main restaurant and bar serving branded menus with all the dishes made from local fresh ingredients. It is also a busy venue with conferences and special occasions and has a number of different banqueting rooms where you will be able to be creative and put your mark on the menus. This Head Chef role will see you leading a team of 9 chefs ensuring that they are all capable of following company specifications when cooking for large numbers of covers in a busy kitchen environment. At the same time you will be responsible for all areas of kitchen management ensuring that the department achieves its budgeted financial targets.

Requirements:

A strong Head Chef who has experience working at this level in a four star, large hotel where you were in control of a multi-outlet, high volume dining operation is essential for this role. A strong financial acumen with a proven track record in achieving your budgeted targets is also necessary. The role needs a 'hands on’ Head Chef who will lead their team from the front. There are good company career prospects for the right candidate.
