A four star hotel located in Buckinghamshire is seeking to recruit a Head Chef
A four star, 100+ bedroom hotel that is popular with both corporate and leisure guests is seeking to appoint a 'hands on’ Head Chef to manage the kitchen operation at the property. The hotel restaurant offers guests 'a la carte’ dining with company branded menus serving up to 100 covers as well as simple, relaxed dining in the lounge where you will be given free reign to create your own menus. The hotel also has eight rooms that are mainly used by the corporate guests but do also host some special events and banquets, again you will have free reign on the menus for these. In this role of Head Chef you will have a team of six chefs working in the kitchen who you will ensure are working to the company standards.
A Head Chef who has been working in four star hotels where you were working to company procedures with nominated suppliers and some branded menus is required to take on this role. The GM is seeking a 'hands on’ Head Chef who also has excellent kitchen management skills with the ability to work within budget at all times.
