A fresh food pub located in North Yorkshire is seeking to appoint a Head Chef
Part of a small group of pubs this property currently has a role available for a Head Chef to lead the team of four chefs working in the kitchen. The pub specialises in serving traditional pub meals alongside more modern Brasserie style dishes which are all prepared from scratch on site using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The pub serves an average of 60 covers in the restaurant but also hosts events in a separate function room which as Head Chef you will also be expected to cater for.
This role of Head Chef needs a chef who has been working in similar establishments accredited to at least one AA Rosette level. As well as being 'hands on’ in the kitchen it is also important that you are fully capable of taking on the responsibility of the kitchen admin; managing the financial performance of the department and strengthening the skills of your team.
