A high volume, fresh food pub located on the Wirral in Merseyside is recruiting for a Head Chef role

A popular pub offering menus featuring classic pub meals with all dishes prepared from fresh ingredients is recruiting for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team of seven chefs. Due to the pub being located close to the coast the menus feature a lot of seafood and fish dishes, as Head Chef you will have autonomy on the majority of the menus with just a handful of specific dishes included across all pubs in the group. This is a fast paced, high volume operation requiring you to manage, organise and co-ordinate the kitchen as well as the team of chefs so that the level of service is not affected by the numbers of covers served.

The pub is seeking an experienced Head Chef who has been working in popular, fresh food pubs where you were achieving high standards at all times. It is important that you are capable of managing a team whilst under pressure, remaining calm and motivating your team to perform to their full ability.
