A banquet led hotel located in South Yorkshire is recruiting for a Head Chef
A three star hotel that is a popular venue for functions and events with both the business and leisure markets is seeking a Head Chef to take control of the kitchen. The hotel hosts a wide range of events including private dining dinners, buffet style theme nights, conferences, corporate functions, special events and weddings. As a result the hotel needs a Head Chef who is capable of creating a wide range of menus whilst ensuring that your team is capable of adapting to the different cooking styles. The hotel also offers evening dining in the restaurant as well as a popular Sunday carvery with lunch offered in the bar area. The menus feature a combination of modern and traditional dishes prepared from fresh ingredients by the team of five chefs.
All Head Chefs applying for this position should have extensive experience working in corporate led hotels with high volume conference and banqueting departments. A strong awareness of kitchen management is essential including GP management; hygiene awareness; budget planning; menu writing and staff training.
