Here at Harrogate, our 36-bed hospital, set in beautiful surroundings, is open to both NHS and private users and is home to two acute wards. Sanctuary is a 17 bedded all female adult acute admission ward and Haven ward is a 19 bedded mixed admission ward. Both wards provide an acute in-patient psychiatric service for a wide range of psychological and emotional problems including addictions. Our dedicated multi-disciplinary team offer a comprehensive range of therapies, designed to support services users on their pathway to recovery. Both wards are well advanced in “Safe Wards”.
You’ll need to have exceptional clinical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a busy team. Previous acute or secure experience is not necessary although would be beneficial. Applications are welcome from RMNs with experience in alternative settings.
