Investigo are delighted to be supporting a market leading Milton Keynes based Client who are looking to recruit a Group Reporting Accountant.
This newly created role will act as a key member of the Group Financial Reporting team, and the position holder will be involved in all aspects of group financial accounting and reporting matters.
The Group Financial Reporting team is responsible for all external group financial reporting including annual and quarterly financial statements and the related supporting information. The department also maintains and performs monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidations of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow including all related acquisition accounting and purchase price allocation requirements. The team also sets and maintains group accounting policies and procedures and acts as the hub for financial reporting queries from around the group including those of a technical nature.
The Group Reporting Accountant will perform and review group consolidations and related schedules, and they will work closely with the Head of Group Financial Reporting on technical areas including specific technical projects required for changes to IFRS accounting policies, including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
The successful Candidate is likely to be an ACA Qualified individual with 2-4 years PQE, and extensive financial reporting experience. They will possess strong technical accounting skills, including preparation and review of IFRS and UK GAAP financial statements. The Group Reporting Accountant will be an effective communicator, with the ability to balance ongoing duties with contribution to other ad-hoc projects. Previous Group consolidations experience would be advantageous.

Our Client is offering a basic salary of £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits.
